RE: Chaney, Hall, Wright Cemetery
Yes, it is off Johnny's Ridge Road. The cemetery is on the right where the road starts going the hill to the lake. It is less than a 1/4 of a mile after you turn right on the gravel road. I don't think the road had a name or number on it. But, if you look at the google map, you should see it just before the main road starts down toward the lake. Hope this helps! We came across it while looking for amother cemetery!

RE: Montgomery Family Cemetery
Glad you found it if you did. Was the sign still up? The one that says Montgomery-Hall

RE: Montgomery Family Cemetery
I am not sure but I think it may be at or near Old Schoolhouse Road (County Road 675) and Ahart Ridge Road (County Road 676). Hope this helps.

RE: Montgomery Family Cemetery
Hi Andy,

Please forgive my delay in responding. I sometimes get distracted by other things going on.

Well I can't really give you the exact location of the Montgomery Family Cemetery. I think it's actually name is the Montgomery-Hall or Hall-Montgomery Cemetery. All I know is that it's somewhere off of Old Schoolhouse Rd and you have to drive down a dirt road partially through an apple orchard to get to it. The dirt road ends into a field which is the graveyard. The drive down to the cemetery is somewhat rough if I remember right, especially if it's been raining. The last time I was there, was in 2005 when my mom passed away. Almost 11 years ago.

If you are driving along Old Schoolhouse Road, you may come upon a sign (yellow with black printing- I think). It will say either Montgomery-Hall Cemetery or Graveyard or Hall-Montgomery. Again I don't remember exactly but it was one of those. That is, if the sign is even still there and/or readable. Also can't remember if the sign is on the same side of the road as the road to go down to the cemetery or opposite of it.

I apologize for not being of more help. I hope you can find it. It is in Ararat, Patrick County, VA

I tried to find it on Google Maps but that wasn't much help. I found Old Schoolhouse Road and zoomed in and out but couldn't seem to find an area that looked like the cemetery.

Again, I apologize and hope you are able to locate it.

Best Wishes,

Bertha (BeBe)

RE: Hazelwood, Nowlin, Rodgers Cemetery
Located in a field on Hazelwood Rd just off Wayside Rd, Stuart, VA. Locate behind a white
house on the corner Wayside and Hazelwood. If its
not to grown up you can see the cemetery as soon as you turn on Hazelwood. It will be on left.

RE: Dodson Family Cemetery
Andy, it is located out NC Hwy 704 E on the right...another Cemetery is across the road from it. I thought they were both the same until I found an obituary and had Find A Grave change the name. I'm only up that way with my sister and her husband three times a year, and, always have my camera with me. I think the other Cemetery is the Ward Cemetery, but, I'm not sure. Hope this helps you find it. Mary

RE: Reids
Andy, You may already know that Mary and Tom's daughter Imogene Nunn Fox just died last year. She lived in Valls Creek, McDowell, WV. I made the cast concrete grave marker for Mary Reed Nunn. I have done about 60 now for my kin in the McDowell, WV, Tazewell, VA and Grayson County VA areas that died and never had their final resting places marked. I got to visit with Imogene a number of times in past years. Take care Andy-Dan

RE: Harry Fillmore Rogers
His mother is Virginia Gunter; she and Harry Rogers were divorced and she then married Fletcher Bullins... she is buried in Oak Grove Baptist in Madison, I think I just put her there yesterday, figuratively; Virginia Gunter Bullins. Not sure off hand where dad, Harry, is buried; Harry Fillmore had a full brother James David died 1997 and a full sister Patsy Rogers Rumley died 1984 if you want to track them down and link them up too. Thanks.

I am adding a picture for Louise Elizabeth Rakes at Draper Valley PHC Cemetery in Draper Va. I believe it is the one you are looking for. There was evidence of a grave to the right of her marker but no marker was present for Andrew Jackson Rakes. About two or three plots to the left of Elizabeth Rakes is a marker for John Rakes (1900-1966). If you believe the picture I have posted is in error, let me know and I will remove it and you can reset your request.
