I was born in 1951. At the present time of 2013 I am 62 years old. How did that happen! Looking in the mirror, I ask myself, "Who's that old man?" It certainly isn't the internal picture I have of myself. I remember being young; inside I feel young; outside my body complains about this sore muscle, this ache, or that pain. Why am I tired all of the time? Growing old isn't for wimps!|
After 33 years of teaching, I retired. God does work in every part of our lives, He has a reason for everything. Being retired I was able to devote more of my time to help Mom take care of Dad. He had developed Alzheimer's and needed constant attention. For Dad it was a 10 year struggle with the disease. My Mother, sisters, and I were primary care givers. We kept him at home throughout this time with very little outside help. I do not regret one day that I helped take care of him; but I want to tell you that this is the closest to living in Hell that I ever want to be. Only those that have been through a similar circumstance will understand what I am saying. Dad died of his disease recently. Our family even though we miss him terribly, are grateful that he now has peace in heaven. Our faith sustains us.
My life has not always been easy, but I am thankful for it. I have not had the worse life by any means. I have many loved ones that have passed on. Because I am a Christian, believing that my sins have been forgiven through Jesus, I look forward to that day, that great reunion day when I will see my friends and loved ones that are waiting for me there. Peace be to you all!

Thank you so much Dale for uploading the headstone picture on Daisy Crownover's memorial! I really appreciate it!

Hi Dale, could you possible upload the picture of Matt & Daisy Crownover's headstone to her memorial? You've uploaded it to Matt's # 138104362 but it hasn't been uploaded to Daisy's memorial # 141752591. I've been trying to make some corrections and Matt's memorial has his 2nd wife Gladys as his "spouse". Daisy and Gladys were sisters and after Daisy passed, he married Gladys. Daisy's memorial did not have a spouse listed and I tried to get Matt listed as her spouse, but somehow Gladys got listed as her spouse! I thought having the headstone picture would help clear it up, I've submitted corrections so I hope they make them. Thank you, Kathy Atkinson Crownover

Thank you for the photos. I really appreciate the favor.
Would you like to also post the photo of their joint marker on Raymond's page, #64215966?
I just saw the second headstone picture you posted on memorial 133500592 with a comment that reads: To the North of John's marker is another marker with unreadable name McNeely. Could this be his wife, Minnie (memorial 137962282)?
