The e-mails I send to jhuggins@datsync.com were returned. So I will include them in a message here.

John, thanks for the information. I look forward to hearing about what you have. I had been sending information back and forth with Carla Bullard that lives out in Texas, that is also a distant cousin. I have often wondered, and must have been a different Stirling Lyon that was in the war. Maybe it was a nephew. There was a large Lyon family presence in Georgia. I always wondered why the family stopped with Minerva Jane Lyon and now that makes sense that he died at that time.

Sterlings wife is supposedly buried at Rock Springs. I found her listed in a 1960 cemetery book where her data was taken from an inscribed headstone. It must be covered with ground, I have been unable to locate it.

I find it interesting that Sterling lived? died there. This is where Emma Sansom was born in 1847. She is also a distant relative on my Maternal side.

If possible, send me an e-mail to hughes452@att.net thanks, Reggie Hughes

John;
I just wanted to say thank you for the headstone photos you posted for this cemetery. My son-in-law has family / ancestors buried there. It saddens me to see the vandalized headstones for his family.
I sure appreciate the work you have done in taking these photos, they are greatly appreciated.

Most sincerely;

This is my greatX3 grandfather and my great uncle. I'd like to request a transfer, and also to inquire whether you know the name of his other 3 wives?

Bryant Cemetery
I am not sure what happened to the Bryant Cemetery that was in Find A Grave along with the records that had been entered previously. I have gone back through my pictures and re-entered the missing records along with their pictures. There are a few Maxwell pictures that I did not make the connections because I am not sure how they are related. I hope this helps. There are other connections that could probably be made, but that will come. Sue Ausburn Edwards

Bryant Cemetery
I notice you have interest in Bryant Cemetery in Grady County, Georgia. My dad mows and keeps the cemetery up. His grandfather is Daniel L Bryant who is buried there. They Bryants, Maxwell, Suttons and Trulucks are all related. I have made several trips out to the cemetery to take pictures. I have cleaned some of the markers to be able to get a better picture. There is also a Tim Jones who has interest in memorials there and has added or changed some of the memorials. If you have any questions or if I can help you in any way, let me know. I noticed you added C M Maxwell as Christina M Pullen Maxwell. I have looked for her for Mary Ellie Maxwell Pitts. I was not sure where she was buried and did not know if this was her or not. Her son, Daniel Christiana Maxwell, along with his wife, Jamie E Maxwell, is buried at New Hope Cemetery in Northern Grady County. I also took pictures at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomas County of the Maxwells there and had added them at one time, but I don't know where they went. I would like to know how were might be related. If I can be of assistance to you in your search, let me know. I have added some of these records to my Ausburn / Osborn/ Bryant Family Tree in Ancestry.com.

RE: GPS Coordinates
John,

Take a minute and click on contributor's tools, right underneath your name on the bottom left side of this page. This will help you a lot. Also, there are quite a few forums you can join with Findagrave that can be helpful. Especially to those younger than me and are computer savvy.

The most important thing to do is to read the Find A Grave Rules.

Again, good luck in your research.

RE: GPS Coordinates
Take Hwy 111 South from Cairo, travel about 16 miles, turn right onto Tobacco Circle, cemetery is 2/10 of a mile on left.

John,
I don't know why you are contacting me about this. I am just a contributor like you. You need to contact Findagrave.com (info@findagrave.com)

Thank you
