I was born in Pasadena, Harris County, Texas but my home now is in North Texas. I am on a neverending search for information about my core families: Putman, Lewis, McCulloch, Reeves in Navarro and Hill County Texas. |
The ancestors on this side of the family are from North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas. Every time I go visit family in Navarro County, I take my camera and visit a few cemeterys going both ways.
Also on a quest for information on the Calame & Campbell, Barnes familes from Limestone and Freestone Counties. Some census indicate Leon county too. The Calame's are from Switzerland then Illinois, then rail car to Freestone County, Wortham, Texas.
Additionally I am searching for ancestry information for my children and grandchildren on the Thacker Family from Pike County, Kentucky.
Ancestry is addicting and I love it. I have taken a few pictures for Find-A-Grave and hope that I can take a few more. I have only just begun.

Find A Grave Memorial# 11009696
Just thought you'd like to know your tombstone photo is on ancestry family tree
This woman has scalped hundreds of tombstone photos from Find A Grave memorials including some of mine without permission. I have advised Find A Grave about mine. She is a member of Find A Grave and should know better.
Thank you. I deleted the duplicate with less info.

Thank you Charlotte for locating the grave and the picture. Still may be to soon for her to deal with a headstone. It is much appreciated.
Thank you very much for replying to my request and posting the photo to this memorial.

I was wondering about the different name with the picture but thought perhaps it was your son or a friend. However, thank you for the effort anyway. Perhaps someone was going to pay a visit to the cemetery today anyway and decided to check if there were any photo requests for it. Who knows. Our weather has certainly improved for this sort of thing, thank goodness.
