Several years ago I took a genealogy course at Bangor (Maine) Adult Education. and since then spend a significant amount of time with genealogy. Nobody on my mother's side of the family was here before 1872.( Donovan's of Ireland) However my father's side was pretty much here from the early days of the country.

RE: William Begert
It's easy just shoot every stone in the cemetery and post them. Makes the odds really good. Not normal but it works!

RE: James Dudley Robie
Hi Gary,
Thank you so much for being willing to share your family history. I just posted an obit I found for Charles F. Robie on his memorial page. There is an interesting story about James and Charles father Henry in Cochrane's history of Monmouth and Wales. Have you seen it? If not I could email it to you.
Thanks again. Bobbie :-)

James D Robie
Hi Gary,
First of all I want to thank you for adding the wonderful photos of James. Are the originals yours? And if they are I was wondering if I could have your permission to use one or both of them for a project I am doing on Monmouth Maine Civil War soldiers? Are you related to him? Just curious. Thank you again for sharing your history. Bobbie M. Bowler

Begert
Hello Gary,
Update:
I went to the Riverside Cemetery and checked out the lot number you gave me....
There is no headstone in that area for Begert and there are a few unmarked lots..
I plan to go back and go thru all the 1800's sections to see if I can come up with something..

RE: J J Robie
Someone else added him at the Nemadji Cemetery and took my photo and moved it over, so perhaps you can just delete the one I transferred to you. You must be related to that other Robie who added it.

Thanks, Gary. Would you like me to transfer this grave to you, or do you want me to make the changes? Thanks again! Janine
