 | RE: Bessey's Hi, I went back to look at the stone and with the help of my granddaughters and a piece of chalk, we read that Moses Bessey was 70 yrs. 8 mo. I would say he was born around February 1771. That tree is the only thing holding up the stone. Maybe getting them a new marker would be in order. In a few years you won't be able to read them. We have very bad winters here. Just a suggestion.

 | Orville Bessey, Central City, NE You asked about other family by him. There is a matching stone for a Dorothy Brown that looks like it is probably a relative.

 | Moody not an easy stone to read under the lighting conditions. If I get down that way again towards memorial day I'll try to get a better picture. | |

 | RE: William Rowland I have taken several looks I can not find a stone for William Rowland. Only the section were they moved the graves from the town of Rising Sun to the Colora spot. Many stones of that ages are damaged or no longer legible. I did post his obituary that was found at the Cecil County Historical Society in Elkton. | |
