Do you have a source for Elizabeth's middle name of Napier? I was at the Troup County (GA) archives this past Saturday and acquired copies of the wills of both Elizabeth's father Joseph Fitzpatrick and Elizabeth's maternal grandfather Benjamin Woodson. Both Joseph and Benjamin had a son named Rene, and Benjamin's will mentions a Rene Napier. Two Napier men were witnesses to Joseph Fitzpatrick's will. Given that information and the fact that Elizabeth's middle name was supposedly Napier, I feel like this Rene Napier was related to the family somehow. I'm descended from Thomas's son Joseph. Have you been to the Heard family cemetery in Greene County? I want to go up there but was hoping to find someone who could give me very specific directions. I've had quite a time finding those "hidden" family cemeteries before.

I saw that you manage the memorials for Thomas and Elizabeth Heard. I am currently in the process of putting together my application for the DAR with Thomas Heard as my Revolutionary veteran.
