Bob Buchanan memorial
I can transfer your husband's memorial to you, if that be your wish.

I only try to get them up before others can scrape and post a full obituary. I think that should be the family's choice as to whether it's there or not.

I respect the privacy of the survivors, as well as the family's natural desire to manage the memorials of their own loved ones.

RE: Requested photo
All you have to do is tote a camera with you and list of photos needed for whatever cemetery you plan on visiting. I was searching for my Dad's Uncle. He didn't know where he wass buried and I know very little about my fathers side of the family. I finally located his death certificate and found that he was at Ashelawn Gardens of memory. So I check find a grave to see if anyone needed photos while I was there. Yes there was a list 19 names. I managed to find all but 4. The place is very large so I had to give up and ask the office for help in locating the graves. Then I take pictures, I always take 2 or 3 of each grave marker or mausoleum wall. That way I have at least one good copy and then up load them to the site. I have had other people all over the US get pictures for me in other states as I am unable to go there and do it myself. This way, we all help each other. It gives me something to do that I have truly fell in love with. I love learning about other people and their lives even though many are no longer with us. Through searching my family's history I have discovered a lot about myself that I didn't know. Plus, I found out where I'm from and what my ancestors went through to get to where we are today. Therefore, if I can find that missing relative for someone and give them a picture that shows that their family members lived and are remembered then I can fill a hole that may be inn their lives as well. Always check the cemetery you are looking for so you don't make duplicate records. Sometimes, someone else has already gone out and logged the cemetery and most occupants, but didn't take pictures. Sometimes the pictures mean more than the memorial itself. It's a small step, but it feels like you've saved the world when one person says thank you and you made a difference. That's the greatest reward in itself, helping someone else.
There are some cemeteries so big that I have had to go back several times, but it's worth it. any other questions you have please feel ffree to ask. I'll answer everything I can.
