I looked Nellie up on seekingmichigan.org, and her death cert definitely says she's at Gracelawn. There was a time that Gracelawn was derelict and some of the older records were lost or destroyed. I am worried that with her death date, she might fall into those few that were lost. The older sections A and B also are not mapped and have a lot of vandalized and missing stones. There is another index I will try next time I'm at the library. It was created from headstone readings. We might have some luck there. Gracelawn has over 20,000 interments with mostly flush mounted markers, so it is difficult to find someone even when you know the plot. We will do our best. | | | Finder keepers, Losser weepers

I see the different memorial numbers that show images of the same headstone. I didn't create the pages, tho; Karen Clark Maleitzke is the creator. My username is Melindark. (I did notate on one of them that I believe he is my Uncle Egbert.)
