RE: Cservenko
I would love to see the picture of Ethel. I looked around Ancestry and didn't find any records for her that have a photo attached. Ethel's son, Steve/Istvan Arvai was the grandfather of my ex-husband - he and his brother are very excited that I have found another branch of the family. I do have one taken somewhere between 1984-1989 of "grandpa Steve" and his 1/2 brother, Joseph Semsak that I can send to you; also one of grandpa Steve when he was 9 years old.

Unfortunately, I do not know where Ethel and John Semsak are buried, but if I had to venture a guess, I'd say Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland as that is where her mother is. At some point, I saw the death certificates for Ethel and John, but for some reason, didn't record the burial locations. I will check with my ex to see if he or his brother have those, if not, will need to order copies as they are not available online.

If you'd like the two pictures of Steve, let me know an email address and I will send them. Mine is

RE: Cservenko

You're welcome. I'm just starting to put together information on the Cservenko family - I didn't even know about them until a few days ago. My ex-husband is descended from Ethel/Ethelka Lacko Arvai Semsak, sister of Maria Laczko Cservenko. I didn't know that she had a sister until I found their Ellis Island record a few days ago. Ethel came in 1920 with her 2 sons and her mother and their destination was to Joe Cservenko in Cleveland.

RE: Jim and Dorothy Herchek
Not a problem at all. The woman working the desk at the cemetery told me their son runs a convenience store right down the road called Herchek's. I actually had to pass by it on my way home.

Hester & Martel Jackson Photos
Nan, thank you so much for taking the headstone photos of Hester & Martel Jackson. I would like to share them with family members and on my family tree on giving you credit for the photos. Is this acceptable to you?

Once again thank you for taking the photos and for considering my request.
