As requested, I updated Joe's memorial and transferred it to you. Good luck with your project at Damascus. Caretaker

Danny, I don't know what to say. As many cemeteries as there are that need to be photoed and we do the same one. I went to Damascus to photo a tombstone back in December (which was a request)and took advantage of the afternoon and did the entire area nearer the church. I had posted the memorials but just last week I got around to posting the photos. I had thought some time when I go back to Cullman I would go by and photo the area that is kinda down the road from the church area. Did you photo that section?
If you have additional information and links to add you can either send through an email or I will be happy to transfer memorials to you. I am not interested in obtaining high numbers, but more in quality and accuracy of the memorials, I create and just working toward remembering as many as possible of those who have gone on before us. Find A Grave is such a wonderful website for so many of us who have been or will be researching our families. Just let me know how you would like to handle adding the additional information, links, etc.

The portion of her headstone with the most information was partially buried. I exposed and cleaned the buried part to reveal a birth date of Feb. 18, 1920 and a death year of 1900. That portion of the headstone with the rest of the death date was heavily weathered and could not be read. I'll contact the owner of her memorial page and have him correct the information. The stone was returned to the "as found" position before I left. --Bob
