Thanks for putting the obit for Sarah on
this page. Could you help me with the
year of her marriage? I see Jan. 14, 18 but cannot make out the last two numbers.
Thanks for any help.

RE: Trimbles
Linda: Yes, I have my Diamond Family Tree on Ancestry. I have "Lum" on my tree-I got most of the informaation and pictures of him from your trees. The middle name of my only living uncle is "Columbus" (Theodore Columbus Diamond)

I see that Lum moved from Grayson County, VA to Illinois; my line stayed in Grayson County-Galax and Old Town.

I did not know about any Trimble books. I did find a book about my Diamond line which was very enlightening since I grew up in foster homes and knew little about my ancestors.

I just recently joined Find A Grave and took my first volunteer grave pictures (in Florida) and submitted a spreadsheet for a Grayson County cemetery yesterday.

Can you send me the information on the Trimble books?

Capt John Trimble and Susanah Jane Nuckolls are also my great great great grandparents. My great grandfather was Christopher Columbus Trimble, and my grandmother was Cora Lee Trimble.

Thanks for the memorial numbers. However the SAC needs to be sent from the children's memorial with the parents link. When they are sent from the parents memorials, the children's memorials have to be looked up & then there are always the chance of errors.

The way Find a grave has it set up is to link the parents memorial numbers to the children. Not the other way around. Hope this helps when you are sending requests out requests.
