Bio Photo When I became a grandmother,I recalled my grandmother telling me stories about her grandmother. I wanted to know more and eventually found the graves of grandmother's parents on the way to a family reunion in Iowa. When I joined "Find a grave",I was able to find the graves of both of my grandma's grandparents. As a working health professional,I plan to find time to visit new cemeteries in my area to help with this great cause.I am married, have three grown daughters and three grandchildren.I am very new at this but very motivated to help.

William Dyke
I have added a photo to the I.O.O.F. Cemetery for a Willie Dyke son of J.& H. Moberly. Is this the person you are looking for? I contacted the person who maintains this memorial and have found that both William Dyke & Willie Dyke Moberly are both buried in C-21-0. Let me know what you think.

The Book you mailed me
Hey Terry,
I was going through my check book and noticed that you have not cashed my check yet for the book and so forth.

Hope things are going well with you, school, and your family.

Love Marian

Benjamin Isbell
Terry, I just wanted to take a few minutes and thank you for all the trouble you are going through to gather the Isbell information and photos. I can't wait to get the stuff in the mail. Your so very kind to do this for us.

Best Regards,
Marian

RE: Gary Isham
Definitely! I hope we all just want to help everyone find or be connected with loved ones they've lost. I've been focusing on the Virginia Veterans Cemetery for several months now since it was missing, I'd say, about 80% or more of it's photos. I have several hundred photos I've already taken that I'm still adding - it is a long process. I'm hoping that before cold weather sets in I will have added photographs (and many missing memorials) for the entire veterans cemetery.
If you would like to add your photo for Gary Isham just let me know and it's no problem for me to delete mine!

Sorry about the confusion over his photograph. I saw that you had posted a problem locating it so I thought I might as well go ahead and add it. I wasn't initially responding to the request though, I already had the photograph because I'm currently adding photographs for that section of the Veterans Cemetery.

RE: Isbell Tombstones and Transfers
Hi Terry,
It was so good to hear from you. Please by all means take your time and get back to me whenever you can. I've waited years and years so a little longer is no problem whatsoever. I know that your trip and visit with the Isbell clan had to be very interesting. Sure wish I could have been with you when you got to talk to Benjamin.

I hope everything is going well for you at this time. Thank you for all your doing for us here on Find A Grave.

Wishing you a very Blessed Week!
Marian

RE: Virginia Veteran's Cemetery
This is James Richard Turney's grave site: Plot: 6 11 9

I'm wondering if he is going by his stepfather's surname of Pratte. Rick was raised by his stepfather and often used the name "Rick Pratte". Wish I could help you look.

Thank you for trying sooo hard. I appreciated it.
