Fantastic that you have info and even wills back so far. Can you email me any of this info? I will look for records back in Surry Co. Virginia on Ancestry in the meantime. My great grandfather Samuel I. was oldest son of Henry J. Brown from Giles. I am still trying to clarify the connection there. I did find a picture here of a very delapidated grave yard in the middle of some woods on what looks to be the Brown's land south of Pulaski, Tenn. Samuel apparently married Eliza C. Lipsey down in Pickens county Alabama and relocated there. My Grandfather Thomas Irvin Brown was his son. I have a picture of him.
Thanks for contacting me!

I'm just discovering my Brown relatives in Giles area. I found the pics of Davis and Martha on this site. Do you have any other info on the Brown side back in Virginia? I see also the Abernathy's were very prominent in this area. Wondering if they came out together from Virginia and perhaps it was on land grants from serving in the Revolutionary War.

Happy to help. The parents have the wrong spelling on their last name so I sent an edit to the creator

I've come across some Wieske's in Hillside Cemetery. Do you think she may related to them, i.e. parents Ferdinand and Wilhelmine?

You're very welcome! I wasn't able to get Irene's stone's photo yesterday, as her stone is deeper into the ground than Elmer's, and had an inch or so of ice on it that I simply couldn't get through. We may have a few more warm days here coming, so I'll try again later this week, hopefully I can get it for you.

RE: Memorial# 77413353

When I come across someone's Death Certificate or obituary, I usually check to see if there's a memorial set up for the person, and if there is, but there is new or different info that's not in the memorial, I like to pass it on, for the memorial's manager to do with as they like.
