Parentage of Martha J Emerson
I don't know how to correct this, but this was not a grandchild of Thomas M Goddard and Elender Studdard. Thomas Daniel Goddard was not their son. I think he belonged to George Goddard and Nancy Studdard, who were brother and sister to Thomas and Elender. TM and Elender already had a Martha when Martha Jane was born in 1867? Check the census for George and Nancy. I think you will find Thomas Daniel there. Same ancestry, slight difference. :)

RE: AUDREY BELL DAVIS
Could you please sent the memorial number so I can locate this. I take it you want the living family members removed from the memorial?

AUDREY BELL DAVIS
THE SON AND HIS FAMILY THAT ARE LISTED ON BELL DAVIS PAGE ARE STILL LIVING AND THE GRANDCHILDREN ARE RATHER YOUNG. BELL WAS MARRIED TO MY MOTHER'S BROTHER. I HAVE NO IDEAL WHO PUT THOSE LIVING NAMES ON THERE. JOE MARK WAS ADOPTED.

RE: Luke Thomas Ward
Thank you. I deleted him from my Virtual Cemetery. Were you able to confirm the Choctaw Indian ancestry?

Hi Elizabeth,
I'm sorry, but I can't help you. I'm not connected to this line and don't have any information that could help answer your questions. Perhaps you will be able to learn more about the two lines as more information becomes available. Best of luck in your research.

Regards,
Virginia

RE: White and Clark,
The only White connection I am aware of was the first wife of Gilbert and Mary Ann's son, Thomas Carr Clark. She was named Polly White and died soon after they married. Of course, Nancy was born over six years before her brother, so she wasn't named for her sister-in-law. I have tried in vain to connect a White family connection. Perhaps they were friends early on. Thomas Carr and Elizabeth Barilla Hargrave Clark did name a daughter Nancy White Clark.

RE: Mary White Clark
I believe it to read, "Sharing the memory of Nancy White consort of R.M. Hopkins Died March 31st 1859 In the 44th year of her age My beloved wife".

I can't totally make out the writing on the bottom. It says something about My fathers house and preparing a place.
