This was one the tougher "finds" I've had. As you can see the marker for Anna is sunken quite a bit (a lot!!). I wasn't even sure I had the right person until I saw "Annie" on her Memorial Page.
But...the mystery continues...right next to her marker, sunken almost as much, is a marker for Axel G. The date of death is 1940.
As with Anna, only the year of death appears on the marker. The marker appear to be the same style as Anna's.
This leads me to believe that they were husband and wife. But I don't see a spouse listed on Anna's Memorial Page and I don't see a page for Axel Carlson listed for Wildwood.
I have pictures for Axel but I don't want to download them until I know for sure who he is.
If this is in fact her husband or some other relative I can create a Memorial Page and download the pictures.
Or, if you want, you can create a page and then maybe submit a request for pictures.
That last one was a bit self-serving, I have to admit.
For me I'm all about fulfilling requests. But either way, let me know when you get a chance.

A photo of the grave marker has been posted on Tombfinder.com. Tombfinder also uses GPS technology to give users a virtual tour of the cemetery and direct then to your loved one's resting place.

|Maurice Eyman||White Cemetery|
Have you been able to locate the White Cemetery?
|William Bjornstad||White Cemetery, Millstadt IL|
I'm trying to find the exact location of the White Cemetery outside of Millstadt IL for which you have posted memorials on Find A Grave for those who are buried there. I am familiar with many of the family cemeteries in this area but I have never heard of the White Cemetery before I came across it in your memorials.
When traveling on IL Route 158 from Belleville to Millstadt and you come to where Mine Haul Road crosses 158, do you turn right or left onto Mine Haul Road? Then, once you are on Mine Haul Road, approximately how far down is the cemetery and on what side of the road does it face?
