I just added a photo of J. D. and Delia Ball's son Samuel Hood Ball memorial #21771299. I got it from my Uncle's wife who is the grandaughter of Samuel Hood. He also was Sheriff of Pickens County Alabama sometime back in the 1930-1940's. Steve | | | Stephen McBride

I just created 5 memorials on the Ball children and transferred them to you. Also added headstone photo to Inez and Joseph Turnipseed memorials. Pearl Z.'s headstone is hard to read, it is deteriorating, hope the dates are right. You can edit them however you want. Steve | | | Stephen McBride

Ran across this by accident, do you have it Sam Hood Ball # 21771299 , son of J Dekalb Ball and Delia Stapp buried in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, Tuscaloosa, AL.
Also I checked some cemetery books, it shows in Garden Cemetery;

Ball, Inf son of J.D.& D.J. Ball 12/13/1868 9/14/1869
Ball, Pearl Z. dau. of J.D.& D.J. Ball 9/9/1871 11/2/1871
Ball, inf son of J.D.& D.J. Ball 8/14/1870 7/9/1871
Ball, Erma Alroy da. of J.D. & D.J. Ball 8/3/1888 1/21/1904
In 1900 Census shows she had 10 children, 6 living so this is probably right. I thought I saw some children graves when I photographed J. D. and Delia, but I wanted to check further. I will photograph these when I go back, it's raining today. Steve | | | Stephen McBride

What families are you looking for? There are a lot of Balls at Garden. I don't think there are many Turnipseeds at Garden, but there are a lot of them at Oak Grove-Franconia in Aliceville.
