|JJ Altman||RE: Harry ACK Photo Request|
In those early years, many people were sent to Colorado and Denver for health reasons; for our high, dry climate. Many people recovered from their illnesses, but many people died from TB.
If you would like, I will contact the cemetery office to see if I can get of copy of the burial record for Harry? Are you related to him?
Let me know...
Gut Yontif! L'Shana Tova!!
If I can help, I live in Wirt county WV, let me know.

Thanks for the pictures on Marcos' memorial. He is my wife's great great grandpa. I always wondered what he looked like. Are you related also? Thanks again.

I do not have a death date for Maggie but I will give you what information I have on her. I know she was the second wife of Irvin Park Thorn and they owned their homes in Elizabeth, Wirt Co., WV, all their married life. They were married o 10/16/1898 in Wirt Co. He served as county clerk in Elizabeth for several terms and was a successful merchant in Elizabeth. They had 4 children(3 boys and 1 girl and a girl by his first marriage. Their children were Van W., Orlando L., Dorr William and Ora Kathryn. Irvin hanged himself 11/5/1937 in Elizabeth, WV and was buried in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Elizabeth. Maggie may also be buried there but I have been unable to find her death certificate.
