I have been researching the Adam and Mott lines of my family for about 20 years. Genealogy is truly an addictive pastime. It is my hope that the current interest in genealogy will lead to many more people trying to research their family history. Current DNA data has opened many new avenues of research.|

Not a problem, given the camera technology of the time, I wasn't thinking that you'd have anything, but I thought it'd be worth it to ask! Thanks for your help with this, and when I post it to our blog I'll send you a link!

That's what it looks like, at least based off what was said in the obituary for Paul (it references Milan's "shattered health"). Do you know if you might have any pictures of Paul or the house they lived in at the time? I'm trying to find images to go along with my post, and since he was taken hostage by the robbers in the third robbery (actually forced into their car during their getaway) it would be nice to include him or their house.
I'm also trying to find pictures of the robbers themselves, but am having less luck with that. I'm guessing that their mugshots have probably not been digitized yet.
Either way, thank you again for all your help!

|Joe ||Re: Image of Milan C. Mott|
I'm a librarian working at the Cook Memorial Public Library and I'm putting together a blog post about the bank robberies in Mundelein during the early 1930's. While I was doing research for the post, I found that Mr. Mott was involved in all three robberies (as the victim, not the perpetrator). I was wondering if I could use the image of him you posted on his memorial page, and if you have any additional information about the image.
My deadline isn't until November 2nd, so no hurry, but if you could get back to me either way, I'd really appreciate it!
