RE: Photo request

I was glad to help. I noticed your last name is Borum. Funny thing happen in the cemetery the other day when I was out taking pictures. I ran across the Borum Surname on the flip side of a stone with the Surname Dey. Take a look at Lula A. & Julius Borum in Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, VA and you'll see the pictures I took. I'll get the flip side Deys posted tonight. Who knows, it might be a piece of the puzzle your looking for.

John Borum
John Borum does not appear on the list of confederate dead plaque. The soldiers are listed in alphabetical order. There are 4,275 men listed, probably not all. The monument says about 6,000 soldiers died there. Send an email and I will forward a picture of the plaque or add it to the memorial. It seems he should have been listed there. In front of the monument are 12 headstones of unknown soldiers.
