Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love research! Genealogy has been a wonderful pastime for me! Finding out about my roots and seeing the world from so many different perspectives through the struggles of my past relatives is inspiring and has made me more appreciative of the life I have. We all have so very much to be grateful for.

I am currently researching the lineages of the following families:

Harrigan, Cassidy, Jagoe (Kings/Manhattan Cty, NY; Ireland), Brecht (Kings Cty, NY; Germany), Essex from the (Kings Cty, NY).

Hall (Queens Cty, NY; England), Billington (England), Van Schaick (Greene Cty, NY), Stone (Halifax, Nova Scotia), Bloss/Deibert/Peter/Metzger/Neuhart/Hoffman, etc. (Lehigh Cty, PA)

I am learning as I go and appreciate any help along the way and if able I am willing to assist others who approach me directly with queries within the Bergen County, NJ area.

Hi Kerry. Double check with the cemetery to see if you have the correct grave location. They will be able to tell you if there was ever a headstone on the plot. There are a lot of broken, sunken and missing stones in the public areas.

George Harrigan
If your grave location is correct for George Harrigan then his plot is unmarked. No headstone. I am attaching a photo of the general plot area

I transferred John and Mary Harrigan's memorials to you. I did not add in the edits prior so you can make the changes now.

RE: Harrigan
In regards to George Harrigan. Add his grave/plot location to his memorial and then put in a photo request. I will be in the city on March 7th and will see if I can find his grave. Just a note on Public lots in Lutheran All Faiths. There is a rather large percentage of unmarked graves in the public lot sections and there is no sense of order in the manner of burials in these sections. Meaning there is a lack of lining up graves in rows which makes locating an unmarked grave difficult. I will do my best though.

RE: Harrigan
Hi Kerry. Before I make the transfer I just want to make sure you have the correct John Harrigan. The John Harrigan I have is buried with Mary Harrigan. Was she your great grandmother? If so would you want her memorial transferred to you as well?

Sorry, I never got there last summer. I spent six weeks in a sling from rotator cuff surgery and then eight weeks in therapy. So much for any free time.

By the way, your entry done last year is a duplicate of one entered by David Blose in July of 2010. Perhaps if you contact him, he will add the information from your entry and then you can delete the duplicate. He may also be willing to share information back and forth with you.

Both you and David have posted photo requests. His is from 2010. My guess is that the marker is so faded, it may be impossible to read.

You got me at the right time. I am also doing some research in Heidelberg Township and will be visiting the cemetery within the next few weeks.

I'll be happy to see what I can find for you.

RE: Anna Maria
You are welcome. If there is any info you'd like to add to any memorials I manage, for all of us at Find A Grave, it would be an enhancement. :)
