Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi everyone! My name is Callie and I am born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Would love to locate memorials for others and have others help our family as well.

******If you are related, a transfer will be made to you********

I will be happy maintain the memorial as well. Sadly, I have run into many volunteers that are down right mean about transfers. I am a volunteer to the public and would like to stay that way. If you find a mistake on any memorial, please post an edit and I will be glad to update. I appreciate all and any help or advice anyone can offer to make to help me or others grow in our volunteer work.

My family names are : Tackett, Lesley, Eason, Renfro, Stafford, Russell, Rosson,Wright, Jones and Guy (and a few others)

Request to manage memorial
Callie,
I would like to request to manage the memorial
76637596, my 4th great-grandmother, Lucy Shell Wright. The information on her current site is incomplete. She and James had 8 children which are listed in The James Wright Family Bible which located in the home of Carolyn Wright Haynes. I have scanned copies of all the family data in the Bible. I would appreciate the opportunity to list the complete information on Lucy's site so her many descendants can use the information that she recorded in her Bible.
Thank you,
Richard D. Wright
Gadsden, AL
PS
Again, thanks for the photos of
Elizabeth Zollicoffer Wright Jones Family.

Lettye Jones
Hi, I am Reita Jones Burress and my great-uncle Lenard Jones and Mary Ann Faulker Jones had a daughter Letty Melvine Jones born 2-1899 in Franklin Co., AL. On Ancestry.com there is a Family Tree that has the Lettye Jones Goode as her. I was wondering if you could help me on this?
Thank you for your time and any help.

There is a lot of information in The St. Clair Co Alabama Heritage Book abt the Truss Family which is the Family that moved to Texas . This is who the city of Trussville is named after. you may be able to find some info from the Archives in Ashville , Al., St. Clair Co., AL. or You may be able to get some information from the creators of some of the Truss memorials , both here and in Texas. I looked and they are really good. IfI can be of any help , just let Me know.

Martha Truss
If You will read the following 2 memorials , it tells of the family that went to Texas. James had a daughter named Martha , bn. abt 1834. My Martha & James never left Alabama.
---------------------------------------------------
Rev. James Truss (1799 - 1882)F.A.G.# 13028258 and his Son , Enos Truss (1836 - 1875) F.A.G. # 13026384

Martha Cordelia Coleman Truss
Martha Cordelia Coleman Truss Oct. 25, 1838 - Jun. 6, 1918 , F.A.G. # 11860110 is not the Mother of Enos Vance Lesley (1866 - 1957)*.F.A.G.# 107522559 .
Her maiden name is Coleman not Truss. She was married to Maj. James D. Truss (1830 - 1899), F.A.G.# 41931615.
She and James had a son , William Coleman Truss (1857 - 1887),F.A.G. # 11860132 .
Your Enos was 9 years younger than The Truss son and Martha & James were married & lived together until 1899 at the time of James Truss death. They are buried side by side with very old matching tombstones ,
To be the Mother of Enos , Martha would have had to had him while married to James Truss
The mother of Enos is most likely the same as the mother of,
George W Lesley (1880 - 1949)*
Alfred Sileonie Lesley (1883 - 1972)*
Samuel Matthew Lesley (1886 - 1970)*
Jerry Luther Lesley (1888 - 1949)*

I sent You a request to unlink Your memorial and also explained that some of the Truss Family moved to Texas and they did have a daughter named Elizabeth abt the same age as Martha Coleman Truss. Please unlink Your Enos Truss from Martha Coleman Truss

Mary Elizabeth Burks Renfro
Hi Callie!

Here is my Find A Grave number and I would love it if you would transfer Mary Elizabeth Burks Renfro (Find A Grave Memorial# 64827160) to me. Mary Elizabeth Burks Renfro is my 2nd Great Grandmother.

Looking forward to being in touch about our common ancestors! I know we have communicated in the past regarding some other connections. And, I believe you told me that your mother is a member of the DAR, as am I!

Jones Family
Hi Callie,
I am a new member to Find A Grave, and am trying to put together a family tree before it's too late. I found your name on the grave information on the Wynnville Cemetary site for Thomas Marion Jones (1827-1880) who is my GG grandfather. I would really appreciate any other info and/or photos you might have on that family. I also have some photos you might be interested in.
