You are so kind! Thank you so much. Before computers my dad used to tell us through family history passed down verbally that his family came from Germany and settled in Bedford, PA. It's so delightful to find evidence in records and tombstones, so I'm extremely grateful for you making this record for posterity. Thank you!

You are so kind to do that. I didn't realize he had a house in town. I have been working all day on my Ickes family line and scanning so many pages of census records. I would be so thrilled to administer this lovely page of my ancestor that you created. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the lovely job you did on the memorial page for Peter Ickes. I learned something I didn't know before and am glad you said he was an innkeeper and postmaster. It makes people have more personality when you add things like this to a memorial page. I loved finding this page on one of my ancestors.

Thanks for all you do for Find a Grave!

Kirscheman graves
Thanks so much for taking and posting the photos of Catherine and Christian Kirscheman. They are my fifth greatgrandparents and were immigrants from Germany. The surname was anglicized to "Cashman" which the children were known as.

The hearts and leaves and stars and flourishes are lovely. Reminiscent of the "Fancy Dutch" folk art of the more liberal Pennsylvania Dutch.

Many thanks.

Thank you so much for the photograph of his headstone.
I can't believe that you got a picture of his when taking a picture of another headstone.
I am hoping that when a picture of his wife's headstone is obtained, one can be taken at a better angle.
Have an awesome day!!

James Bosco at St. Gert's
I claimed your request for James Bosco at St. Gertrude's in Colonia, NJ. There is no marker for his grave. I will post a photo of where his marker should be.
