|I learned about Find-A-Grave and their volunteers when I started doing my Ancestry over four years ago. It was such a huge benefit to find my ancestors and be able to see their final resting place. I feel like I am joining loved ones back together when I verify and complete the links and make them a family again.|
I have taken a few pictures for others and hope to get back to that aspect soon. If I have posted a picture connected to your loved one, feel free to use it. I don't want to put a restriction, as it brings me such joy to make the connection to my loved ones and hope I can do the same for other.

I'd be happy to add the obit in the bio section for you if you would send me the text so I can cut & paste. Either in e-mail, or via edit tab will work. Adding in photo section is not the way. Shows up as black box when I view.
|Christopher Watson||RE: Austin Dent Crawford|
Youíre very welcome, Darlene. I am actually related to Austin Dent Crawford, so, unfortunately, I donít think Iíll be able to help you with your family mystery. My great-grandmother, Doris Nina [Crawford] Hughes (born on 07 March 1913 at Two Ripple Creek, Elizabeth District, Wirt County, West Virginia/died on 16 February 2009 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Marietta Township, Washington County, Ohio) [Find A Grave Memorial #: 92001593], was Austinís older sister. From the quick research that I have done, I see that your sister-in-law is related, via Martha Jane [Moore] Hewitt (born on 09 May 1870 in Gilmer County, West Virginia/died on 23 February 1961 in Orton, Center District, Gilmer County, West Virginia) [Find A Grave Memorial #: 68138321], to Cressie Forest [Moore] Sullivan (born on 31 March 1890 in Gilmer County, West Virginia/died on 23 December 1943 in Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia) [Find A Grave Memorial #: 97624022], who was the mother of Austin Dent Crawfordís first wife, Brenice Emogene Sullivan (born on 19 October 1918 in Gilmer County, West Virginia/died on 19 February 2000 in Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia) [Find A Grave Memorial #: 142179875]. Austin and Brenice were married on 30 June 1941 [I have also seen 03 July 1941] in Parkersburg, Parkersburg District, Wood County, West Virginia. They had no children. Austin Dent Crawford married, secondly, Anna M. Sita (born on 25 June 1923 in Belmont County, Ohio; deceased). They have one living child. Iím so sorry that I most likely canít be of any help to you with your Moore family research, but I want to wish you the best of luck with it. Those family mysteries and proverbial ďBrick WallsĒ can be extremely challenging and tough to crack. Iím currently working on a few myself. If you need any more photos, please donít hesitate to contact me. I know that we have a few more of both Austin and Brenice.

Hi Darlene. Thanks for contacting me. I donít mind, at all, if you use copies of my photographs in Ancestry. The only thing that I would, kindly, ask of you is that you PLEASE make sure that all of the photographs that you use are labeled and transcribed correctly in Ancestry, or whatever other website, or application, in which you may use them. The only reason I ask this of you is because with some of the other photographs of mine that have made their way onto Ancestry, without my permission, the individuals in those particular photographs have been misidentified. I hope you donít mind me asking, but are you and I related in some way? I have plenty of other old photographs of both the paternal and maternal sides of my family, that are not on Find A Grave, Ancestry, or Geni.com, which Iíd be most willing to share with you, depending on which particular lineage you are researching. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you. Take care.

An Ancestry tree is not a source. I've added Baden-Wurttemburg as the birth location, as that is substantiated by the census. Regards, LG
What is your source for the birth and death locations?
|Thomas Swinehart||RE: Photos|
yes you may, thanks for asking
|Natalie Herdman||RE: Photos|
Yes, please feel free.
Thanks for asking!

No problem. There is now only one Lawrence Dickinson memorial at Fairmount Cemetery. I'm happy to see all those links and the obit! Nice job! :-) Alice
