RE: Re: Thomas Harry Helm
Appreciate the correction. I've removed the link between the Thomas I have and Anna. She is your family and I'll be happy to transfer the memorial if you want.

RE: Re: Thomas Harry Helm
James, thanks for writing. The memorials for Thomas and his wife are two that were transferred to me. The name Harry probably came from the cemetery listing the creator used. However, I have done "some" research through death records and census records and the census records leave me pretty confused. Thomas is listed as Harry on the 1900 and 1930 census and either Tom or Thomas on others. The 1870 census shows him as Henry, son of William and Rachel Helm. The confusion is two fold, on each census he is listed as a single Black male. I have yet to find him married nor, Anna on any census. The 1900 census shows him as a Nephew in the home of a family named Georghenan.

If the memorials are incorrect I feel it is important that they be corrected, primarily because I and many others use Findagrave as an addition to our genealogy work. It is certainly possible that the cemetery listing used is incorrect and I may have been tracing the wrong person on the census records. Any clarification would be appreciated.
