|Special interest in Mayflower descendents (Alden, Fuller, Doty, Soule, Sampson, Warren, Standish) and early New England, my roots. Am a member of the Stetson Kindred of America in Norwell, MA. Have several Stetson and Shurtleff genealogy books as reference sources to help others. |
I am working to update Stetson gravestone inscriptions on FAG and add new transcriptions (any surname) from Plymouth, MA cemeteries and Orange County and Madison County VA as time and travel permit.
My transfer policy is quite liberal: if it's your family and not mine, I am happy to transfer. Just ask. I do listings as a courtesy to help others find their ancestors, with the goal of ultimately getting them into the hands of family for management.
I want to thank all the little "photo angels" out there who add GS photos to my listings. You are the icing on the cemetery cake!

|Joe Caldwell||RE: Hazel Memorials|
Thank you, Linda -- much appreciated.

Thank you Linda for your thoughtfulness, but she is NO close relation, however was the grandmother of my NH cohort, Barbara Holt who when asked, said she has the info, so NO need in sending it to me.
Her paternal aunt, Virginia L Davis, was mother of Carl R Gray who married my mother's paternal aunt Harriette Flora, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=44548707, he ending as vice-chairman of Union Pacific Railroad Systems when he died in 1939.

|Joe Caldwell||RE: Hazel Family|
Initially, I had my nephew, Joe Caldwell, involved in updating the Hazel family (and others) informations -- I had originally asked him to assist the computer-side of upgrading family info, and had provided him with several different family member's personal data sets -- seems that he and I were a bit out of synch with regards to this whole affair, and he was able to post nearly everything I had asked him to, almost before I realized his progress. Joe is my go-to computer wiz, and he appears to be enjoying this bit of "family history time" more than I realized.
Regarding the transfer of accounts -- could you simply move them to Joe's Find-a-Grave account, for future management?

Thank you for the transfer! Nope, I am not changing the spelling! Best to you, Patti

Thank you many times over, it is so nice to see more info, to help the present researchers and the future after we are gone...
I sent the rest through the edit tabs you will find them at the top of your contributor page under the Edits tab. Unfortunately we don't receive a message that we have them.

|Fed up||Problems as of Sept. 13th ,2013 ARE|
because Ancestry now owns Find A Grave - and everything royally screwed up/ They even would NOT accept a url for the LDS CHURCH no less @ familysearch. org who has now 'partnered' with ancestry and others and now $$$$ fees are being charged/
