|William Thompson||Thompson Farm|
In response to neenor2406 looking for info concerning the Thompson Farm.
I am the second great grandson of John Phillip Thompson who founded the farm and have visited there several times. In fact I was there ten years ago on my way to Pittsburgh on business. There was nobody home so I couldn't confirm whether it is still in Thompson hands or not. I can confirm the original home and barn I remember is still standing and the road to the cemetery looks like it is still used.
The farm is in the Mount Chestnut area of Butler and not in the town of Butler itself.
If anyone wants to discuss further contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Please call Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery (817) 498-5894) and get the Section Name & Plot # and add to your photo request and I will try to locate the headstone.

Henry Wywias was my step-granddad. Growing up, he was the only granddad I had. He was married to my grandmother Nora McGee. I don't have very many photos of Pop - but a lot of memories.
I knew some of his family (not his parents) but his nieces and nephews. I stopped working on his family last year - but would love to have more information. Was your granddad a brother of Henry Wywias?

I can't find any other Death Records involving anyone else in her small family of husband or 2 daughters. I don't know whether they married and moved away or what?? All I know comes from their Census info. Thanks for adding the info as I hope it's leads possibly to some of her other more direct dependents that might be able to shed more light. Blessings, Sandi :-)

I actually already have her obituary, which is why I knew where to look for her grave.
I do appreciate the extra work though!

Thank you for the offer, but I already have everything, the library fulfilled my 'obit' requests. I can email it all to you if you wish. My interest was that the events took place in my grandparents' home, before they bought it. We had heard that something had happened, but were never given details. Turned out to be worse than I could have imagined. I am not surprised he has an unmarked grave. Hers doesn't seem to show up in North Cemetery records either.

Thanks so much..I know that you said that part of the cemetery was taken for RT 52...so didn't know where it exactly was...but all set now with your excellent directions. I will wait until it is a little bit warmer and head up there.

I'm hoping to go up to this cemetery...but having trouble finding out exactly where it is. I thought I would ask you as you have taken photos of the cemetery. So need to ask how to get there/where to park/street location etc would be great.
Thanks so much,
