Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am currently doing a one name study on the Baggett/Baggott/Bagby and variant spellings and entering all the burials from this site and any other site I can locate.

My Master tree currently contains over 600,000 names and 4 separate lines of Baggott names:

Suffolk Baggotts from 14th century
John Baggott, 1613, London (founder of the American Baggetts
Irish Baggotts
Baggott Clan which I have been able to go back to the year 0620. If I was able to connect all these lines into one, this would be one massive tree.

Vera, Holly Davis Baggett is a man; Davis is his middle name. You might want to correct this. Thanks for all you are doing on the Baggetts.

William & Mary (Arnold) Thomason
To descendants of William & Mary (Arnold) Thomason:
Sandy Whittington is working hard to preserve the Thomason burying ground in Douglas County GA. She needs your Thomason line of descent to prove there is real interest.
Please send it to her as soon as you reasonably can, and forward it to anyone else who would have an interest.

Carol, I just sent this to cemetery commission members. The second paragraph is the one of interest to you. Can each of you send me your line of descent from the folks buried there? Marcia is a dynamite genealogist and will back it up with documentation for the commissioners.
I attended the BOC work session this morning.
As to our issue, District 3 Commissioner Mike Mulcare and I talked before the meeting. He is in favor of revoking the burial disturbance permit, but they tabled it for two weeks to gather copies of the deeds showing Thomasson ownership of the land in the mid-19th century so that they can have a complete file documenting why they revoked it. I will get the copies they need for them, and Marcia will tie the descendants to the original owners with census records, etc. They may also change the zoning from commercial back to residential low-density. Stay tuned.

RE: Raymond Lavon Baggett#40948645
I definatly can supply some data for him. However, I'm still trying to find data on his family. Name: Raymond Lavon Baggett. Nick name: Shorty. Born Jan 22, 1921 in Fort Cobb, Caddo County, Oklahoma. Died Dec. 26, 1963 in Trinidad, Humbolt County, California. Parents were: Sidney Boyd Baggett and Anna Maye Boyd. Came to Tulare Calif in 1936 with his parents. He was the owner of a bar and restaurant in Tulare until he moved to Trinidad 18 months before his death. He was a member of the Tulare Elks and Visalia Moose Lodge. Burial was Dec. 30, 1963.

Regarding your suggestion

How can he marry someone born 2 years after he died?

I didn't enter the memorial for his wife Sophie ( The person that did, incorrectly entered her death date (1941) as her birth date. I believe I sent him a note about correcting it.
