Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. I am a Mother of five, 3 sons (one son deceased, aged 3 years) and 2 daughters and a Grandmother of seven, 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. I have been researching my family ancestry since 2008. The main surnames in my tree are Richardson, Land, Embelton/Embleton, Rostron, Ranson, Brain and Crothers. I am particularly interested in preserving the memory of all our soldiers who fought to keep Australia free. Where there is limited information on their memorials I research for information on their birth details and family background.

James Dawes-Esher Surrey
Thanks for the update to this soldiers memorial. I visited Esher in May this year and only had a few hours to photograph all the soldiers. I don't live in the area so didn't want to risk putting incorrect info up. Feel free to tweak any of my other entries

Henry Alfred Dyer
Hi there,

Another contributor explained that there are three cemeteries with a similar name and he explained where Henry Alfred Dyer (a second cousin to me) is actually buried. I have corrected the record to reflect the correct cemetery.

Thanks for your help.

Henry Alfred Dyer
Thank you for your email regarding the "move" of Dyer's record to the FreeTown (Tom) cemetery. I am not clear as to your suggestion as I created the record for him as being interred in this cemetery. If I do a search of the Find A Grave database, there is only one Henry Alfred Dyer that shows up (the one that I created) for this reason, I am confused...perhaps I am missing something here?

RE: Schwitzer Family
You are most welcome Lyne. He is related to my Aunt (by marriage) and was just dabbling around in her tree and found Rupert most interesting. There is a great many things for him at the Canadian Great War Project. HIs obituary, death notice, military info and so on. Take care, Karen (Montrose Michigan)
