I have always loved history, particularly the Civil War. I've got a pretty good handle on my Father and Mother's families due to good recod keeping, family bibles, pictures and stories. Most of my family ties are in GA and TN. My family interests are Taylor and Barrett on my Father's side and Huskey and Ledbetter on my Mother's side.|

Nora was not George Huskeys daughter. She was the daughter of Roxie Simmons and was born about 1895 in Pickens County, Georgia. That is why I thought she might be the wife of Isaac Benjamin. I found a marriage for Isaac and Nora Kile in the Marriage book here in Dalton, GA. I have the date on my tree at ancestry. I will try to find if the daughter is still living. By the way Roxie is my grandfather, Andrew J Seay's half sister.
I will be getting a copy of the obit. of both Nora and Isaac in a day or so. Be glad to share if you will

I "renamed" Isaac Huskey, Isaac Taylor.
Hi Randy, I saw at Find a Grave that you are a descendant of Isaac Taylor. Are you from his marriage to Nora Kile or from a first wife he may have had? His father, George Huskey married my g aunt, Roxie Simmons after his first wife, Annie Stinnet died. I need some information on Roxie's daughter Nora. I thought she had married Isaac B Huskey until I found the marriage to Nora Kile in Dalton, GA. Do you have any information on Nora? Anita

I am also a Huskey descendent. Isaac is a Grand Uncle to me. I found the picture on Ancestry.com
If you would like I could send you a link to the Cole family tree. I have a lot of the Huskey info on it. Send your E-mail to email@example.com
