|I am a descendant of the following families that I can trace:|
Paternal: Menteth, Monteith, Mantooth, Hilliard,Dryman, Collins, Moore, and others.
Maternal: Hutson, Brittian, Swindell, Knowles, Passons, Cotton, Sullivan, and others.
My brother and I have been working for several years to erect headstones for our ancestors who are buried in unmarked graves. We also place additional stones for those whose markers have become unreadable. Our deceased family members are buried in Middle and East Tennessee, and in Several places in Alabama.
I am retired from the U.S. Air Force, and also retired from civilian employment. I worked as a meteorologist, computer programmer and repairman for over 45 years. My hobby is refurbishing old banjos. Some in my collection date back to the late 1800s.

Would you consider transferring my direct line ancestors in McNairy Co. to me?

Mary Eliz. Morris Moore #96428584
I was quite surprised to find that these had been added so recently when I got on here today to add them myself. I appreciate your hard work. I looked at your website, too.
If you ever discover where William Smith Moore Sr is buried, I'd love to know.
Thanks for added these memorials.

Abel Hutson Cem is easy to find now that we put up a marker.
I will give you the directions provided in the White Co Cem Book: 250ft east of Old Ky Rd, (SR 136)oppsite of the house at 17566 Old Ky Rd., 2 miles north of junction McMinnville Hwy in Walling.
Now for my simple directions. Abel Hutson Cem is across the Old Ky Rd from Hutson #3. If you walk almost a straight line through the woods in front of the house mentioned above (17566) you can't miss it.
The stones are all broken and hard to see with all the fallen leaves so you might want to take a rake. If you need a guide just let me know. I am only about five minutes from the cemetery.
Do you do research on the Moore's from this area?
