I started this genealogy search as something I could give to my child. Now I am totally addicted. Our family is spread across this country, and people have been very gracious to help me, so I am paying it forward. And loving every minute of it!|

|S Kamps||RE: Paul Kamps|
Thank you so very much for giving me this phone number for Sunset Funeral Home. I will try them and see what they have on file. I knew my family was living in Bracketville, TX as the time of his death and he was only 14, so when we found the information for Leo Kamps and his wife, thought we would try Del Rio since that is his uncle. I am guessing that Paul might have been cremated since the entire story of his death is confusing and awful. We found many more clues. He was my Dad's only brother and to die so young is awful. He was already studying to be a priest at age 12 & was going to a Seminary in TX. He wrote a beautiful Mother's Day poem at age 12 that is unbelievable, and we hand out copies at my Mother's memorial service last year. His death was never spoke of but after seeing the death certificate then what we were told, all the pieces came together. So we were just hoping to find out if he was buried or not. Thank you again for taking the time to contact me. If you ever want to contact me direct I can be emailed at email@example.com. Thank you again!! Sue Kamps

Hi there, My name is Susan Kamps, daughter of Harold and Lorene Kamps, Grandfather, Gerald Kamps, uncle, Great Uncle Leo Kamps. Noticed your name for the pictures you took of Leo and Lillian Kamps. Just wondering if any connection or just do the photos of the entire cemetery??? Was also looking for grave of my Uncle Paul Kamps who died in Del Rio 1931. He was 14. Thank you! Hello, my name is Hal Bryson, and I'm writing to ask if I may have your permission to use several of your Find a Grave headstone photos in my Ancestry.com family tree. I think that the headstones are a useful addition to family trees and I would like to include them.
Please let me know. Thanks!

|Mary V.||infant McFarlin|
Thank you SO MUCH for posting photos of the markers, even though they were unreadable. I am certain one of them is for the McFarlin infant. I am betting that one of the others is Margery McFarlin's mother. I sure wish there was a database for this cemetery, put together back when the stones were readable. Again, thank you so much, I am very grateful.
