RE: Welcome
Yea that will work fine just set it to the next to the lowest setting and it should be fine. To avoid retaking the photos you will have to edit the ones you have or you will have to retake them.
You might try when the findagrave site tells you it is too large go ahead and accept it anyway somtimes if they are close it will still accept the photo if not you will either have to retake or edit to get it on.

RE: Welcome
When you take the photos for find a grave set your camera to the lowest setting possible usually the camera will call it 640 or email size then you will have no problem.
Now you can resize them with either your photo software or with windows paint. You will have to open the photo it whatever software you have and choose edit then find where it says resample choose about 50% and save it.
The other way would be to crop your photo down in size to only show the headstone, sometimes this will get it small enouth to be accepted.
Let me know if this works or not and if you need it I can tell you step by step how to do it.
The photo should then be accepted by findagrave

Thank You so much for the time you spent researching and photographing my request along with those I did not know to request. With the help of volunteers as yourself I am able to connect the family links of my mothers family.
I was able to post the pictures and I put a notation under each with your name as photographer. I hope this meets your approval.

Welcome to grave search. We have been doing it for a while we live in Statesville and travel all around the area when we can. Well have a great time and will probably pass each other some day as we live very close to you. Near Eufola and Lewis Ferry.
