|I found this site while researching ancestry for my folks. I'm really glad to have found it, and I'm thankful for all those memorials that have helped me find lost family.|
I live on the Oregon coast. I am related to the Bradley, Chapman, Heckathorn, Toles, Walker, and Wilkerson families.

I am researching Sarah Cates husband Wiley Thomas Raines linage. Do you know any history on Wiley Thomas parents who were George William Raines m Elizabeth Jane Hankins? They were born about 1837. I am looking into the Elizabeth Jane Hankins line to see who her parents were, records on census of 1900 say she was born Indiana age 43 at time of census. I know this is a long shot but I have to ask.
My line comes down through Sarah Cates m Wiley Thomas, two children, James Everett and Alma Lee who m George F. Sturgis. Their daughter LuLu Hazel m into my Hankins line She married Charles Spargur whose parents were Harriet Jane Hankins m Albert Jr.. Spargur Jr. and Harriet parents were Roland Hankins m Mary Elizabeth Davidson(DAVISON)This is where we connect from, Harriet sister was sister to my great grandmother Melinda Ann Hankins m William Jasper Beavers. I am simply trying to see if this Elizabeth Jane Hankins Raines connects into our Hankins tree somewhere. Any help on your part in the family history would be appreciated if you can help. Nice photo of Sarah.
I'm sorry but the only info that I had on Edith is her birth & death dates and where she was buried. I didn't link her to anyone, it must have been the one who created her husbands memorial. Have you contacted her?

Joy, I wanted you to know that I took a photo of the space where Kenneth Walker might be buried. Since the information only had a last name, I couldn't positively identify this was the site of his burial. I did take a photo of Richard Walker's marker next to him thinking it might be a brother. I also took a picture of the empty space that included both Richard Walker's marker along with the space to the right which was the "unknown" Walker grave. I will be glad to give the photo to you if it is one you'd like to have.

Thank you so very much, Joy, for finding my brother's grave and taking a photo of it! Your kindness and all the extra work you did to find it is appreciated so very, very much.
