RE: Messages & G-mail
Sorry Bill, I did not get any messages until now, I have not checked back in a while. I appreciate all your help. I will check into all these, I have been in the process of moving, and bringing things out of storage, I will look through anything I have and be glad to share with you also. Thanks, Sherri

RE: Thomas Dupree & Cynthia McDonald
It has been a while sense you wrote, I am sorry that I have not responded sooner. I really worked on the genealogy for a while then got away from it for a while. We do not have too much information on Thomas Dupree and Cynthia McDonald. If you have any info that would be great. My Aunt is the main researcher in our family, so she would have most of the information at her disposal. I will try to find out what I can from her. I would love to know more about them. Thanks

Thank you so much for the info of my grandpa. I don't know too much. I was 12 when he passed, I knew him very well but never too much info about his time in the navy. I know my mom was born in oakland in 1952. And has already passed back in 2002. My father was also in the navy.
But im super interested and happy to find out my grandpa was a radioman! We got brains in our family. :) that is so awesome that you knew him. Thank you again!!!

I went ahead and made the transfers to you.....happy they are with family who can add much more information about their lives. My kin down in Wilkinson must have been close to the Fordhams as they saved John Lee Fordham's obituary. Will be happy to make a copy of it and send it to you if you would like. Take care.

RE: Carroll Fordham
Hello Bill,
You are very welcome. You have more information on this couple than I do. I created the memorial and added some photos now I know you will take good care of them. I joined Find a Grave at this cemetery. I visit my parent's graves and I take a few photos.

RE: Carroll Fordham
Hello Bill,
I understand now. I retired from a job where I was dealing with finances all day and pulling credit bureaus on a lot of customers. I prefer not to add this data to a memorial. I know that the Social security application that is available if you have the SSN lists the parents. There is now a 100 year wait if I understand it right. If you order a SSA now and the person was born less than a hundred years ago they blank out the parents names. At Arlington Park in the same mausoleum that Carroll Fordham's mausoleum space is there is a mausoleum space for June W. Fordham, Oct. 19, 1922- June 12, 2000. Is this Carroll's wife? Thank you for all you do for the Find a Grave community. It is appreciated. P.S. If you would like to add this data I will transfer their memorials to you. I you would like management of the memorials just send a request through the edit on each memorial. Good luck on your searches.

Carroll Fordham
Hello Bill,
I received your edit request for Carroll Fordham and I always appreciate additional information. I have never received a request to add a social, security number to a memorial. I know the social security number becomes public record after we die but what purpose does it serve to add it to a memorial?

Do you know if Maggie and Willie Butler were husband and wife? Thanks

I made the change to the memorial even though the information conflicts with the stone...I have found over the years that things are not always "set in stone"...thanks for the information.
