Is there a way to take a different shot of this headstone, so I can get it translated?
You are very welcome. I'm glad that I could help.

Hi Bob R
My name is Charlene Henderson. I became interested in the final resting places of the 17th CVI. Several years ago, 2006 - 2009, I located and photographed about 650 gravesites in CT and few in N.Y. I stopped working on this project for personal reasons.
Last month, I thought I'd go back to reseaching the regiment. That's when I found the 17th's old website was alive and well, better then ever, as a blog.
I found your burial site tab to find a grave.
I've been looking at grave sites you've created, photographed, maintain, or transfered to your cemetery. You've done an INCREDIBLE job and I know it wasn't easy!!
In some manner, I would like to contribute information, photos, bios, ect, to your project. Do you have a list of those not on the running tally? I might have information.
I created a memorial for Pendleton, Charles M., private, Co. A, buried Center Cemetery, New Milford. Please, incorporate with your records. Also, there is a gravestone photo for O'Boy, Bryan, Old St. Peter's, Danbury.
Hagar, Abijah, Kent Cliffs, Kent, N.Y. doesn't have a gravestone and may not be buried there. All church records where distroyed in a fire during the early 1900's including burial records. Harriet was his first wife. He remarried after her death. He's my great-great-great uncle and I've written his bio.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you so much for taking pictures of Howard Myres grave. Your time and effort is very much appreciated.
