Magie
I transferred both Magie memorials. I appreciate your interest. My son no longer attends Miami University, but I enjoyed the Oxford community.

Re: David Magie
I do not believe that I added the link to the parents (I know I did not add the children), but I am happy to correct. I have no association to this memorial. If you are related, I am happy to transfer the management. Just let me know. Thank you.

Julia Jardas
Holy Cross cemetery, Colma, has no record of Julia Jarvis buried there. I tried various spellings ... even looking for all "Julia"s who died in 1951 .... nothing. Please advise.

Monica,
It is possible that some descendants have confused the two Samuel Pitmans. The one married to Lucy Williams is not listed in DAR's Index online and I don't know about their Index books since mine are in storage. So, that means if he was in the Revolution, he has not been proved by a descendant for DAR yet. You could pay DAR a fee and have them look him up to see if he did served in some way in the Revolution. There are instructions on their website. R.J.

Monica,
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. My computer was down for a month. I don't remember where I got Samuel's birth date. DAR(on their website) has that he was born c. 1840 and died after the date he wrote his Will. They also have him married to Mary Lane. A distant cousin, N.E. Williams who posted a copy of his Will on his memorial, recently joined DAR with her lineage to Samuel. It was approved. I think you maybe talking about a different man. R.J.

The index available to me does not give the location of the grave. If you could call the cemetery office by googling its number and get the location of the grave I would be glad to get your pic!!
