The info is correct. Juanita was the sister of my dad, Willis Frith. Roger was one of their brothers. Aunt Juanita was the sweetest woman I knew. I wasn't around when she was married to Richard, but, I knew her son Jack and his family. They visited us on several occasions when I was a child. That was probably about 44 years ago as the last time I recall seeing them I was about 13 or 14 years old. I think I met Hershel once when I was even younger although I don't really remember him. How are you related?
You may contact me at this email address. d.frith@twc.com.
Looking forward to chatting

RE: Estelle Compton
No ma'am, I am not a relative of hers. The info I put on her memorial is all the info I had about her. There was no mention of a husband on the cemetery info. When I searched in ancestry.com, I did find a marriage record and I added that to her memorial. It is puzzling as to why her married name and her husband was not listed on the cemetery info. I can't find any other info on her. Perhaps someone with more knowledge will come forward in the future. Thank you for your message. Sincerely, Vickie

RE: Ruth E Gibson
Yes, George and Arleta were her parents. Ruth's daughter grew up with my mother and we still see her from time to time...

RE: Gibson - Mashburn
Hi Tam,
I wish I had some stories that she passed down to me. In her later years, she didn't talk much about where she grew up or how they made it to Illinois from Tennessee. I wish she had. She was doing some family history that she gave me but she really hadn't gotten that far with it. I wish everyday that she was still here.

RE: Gibson - Mashburn
Hi Tam,
Thanks for contacting me. I set aside my geneaology for the summer but now I have a good reason to pull it all back out. My grandmother Iva (my dad's mother), was the daughter of Eliza Alice Mashburn Andrews, who was the daughter of Catherine Gibson Mashburn. Iva married Gerald Carlos Gobleman. My grandmother Iva is who passed down to me what information she had on her family. She talked alot about growing up in Sevierville and there are still extended family in that area. I've been working on that line for years.

I will send a friend request to you on FB. I look forward to being added to the group. I might not have much to share, but I'll enjoy seeing what everyone else has.

Talk to you soon.
Best,
Jami Gobleman
