I started researching my family history after my mother passed away in 2011. Fortunately for me she had everything written down so it gave me a good head start. My wife did not have much on her family so I started looking to see how much I could find on her family.
I found out early on the only way to do this was to walk the entire cemetery and try to link each person back. Doing it this way I was able to find relatives that I wouldn't have been able find otherwise. Family plots give a lot of clues about the family that are not obvious otherwise.
I am happy to add any family information since it makes it easier for others to find the memorial, any bio information should be written so it can be copied over. Please use the edit tab and the Suggest a correction link when sending information or requesting a transfer, it makes it easier and reduces the chance of an error.
On Bio's MCOI is short for Morning Call Obituary Index. EEOI is short for Easton Express Obituary Index. PADI is short for Pennsylvania Department of Health Death Index. | |

Thank you for the information on Bernard and Martha Gavlick. I've updated their memorials. While I was at it, I looked them up in the SSDI, and added their exact dates of birth & death as well. The info is on their memorials if you need it.
