Bio and Links
Bio Photo I currently live in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I am from Toledo, Ohio and my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents plus a few more were from Williams County, Ohio.

I'm adding to my grandmother's, Loretta (Haines) Barrett, compilation of my family history from 1978.

Surnames I am searching: Barrett, Haines, Hays, Richard, Hamp, Bauer, Boyer, Edwards, Hollstein, Waterston, Marquart, Nye, and McLain.

Any data or photos I provide are done from my love of sharing information. I do not need credit for photos or data, I am glad if I can help anyone. Feel free to share with the world.

I am happy to transfer any record if you can provide your direct lineage to the person.

Through Find A Grave I have met a wonderful person, Sandi Litzenberg. She lives in Williams County, Ohio and is photographing all of the cemeteries there. I am trying to help by sending the transcriptions that I have from the Williams County Genealogical Society. Thank you Sandi!

Happy Hunting Everyone!

RE: Update for #140294817
Hi Kris!
I don't live in Ohio anymore. I'm in Illinois now, but, my husbands family still lives in Ohio and I do have some family still there. My mother was from Williams County. Her members are all buried there, and my husbands family members are mostly from the Montpelier area.
Researching can be stressful at times....farther back you go the more walls you run into!! But, when you do find a connection, its amazing!
I plan on traveling to Ohio within the next month, so, I'll be visiting the cemeteries to document headstones. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Not fun searching in the snow!

Have a safe New Year!

Dolly

RE: Update for #140294817
Kris,
Thank you for updating the information! I have a photo of the headstone, that I will add.
Also, I see in your bio that you are researching the Bauer family. Sylvia Ann (Weber) Bauer, (Williams County, OH), was the wife of J. Seely Bauer, who was the aunt of my mother. Lester Weber, Sylvia's brother, was my mothers father. I remember my mother speaking of Sylvia and her sister, Clela. Clela married Chester Bible, and my mother kept in close contact with the Bibles all through her life.

I find it amazing how we are all connected, and very enjoyable in the reseaching!!
Have a wonderful holiday season!!

Regards,
Dolly Chapman

Update for #140294817
I have update information regarding Elsie Miller Chapman.
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=140294817

Elsie is my husbands grandmother, and I am doing research on her. I see that you have added information regarding her, however, I have a photo and additional information. I created a profile for her, not knowing that you had already done so. Not sure where to go from here....do we combine or delete? Let me know how to procede to contain accurate information without duplicates.
Thanks for your help and time with this.

RE: Walnut Grove.. again
That would be great Kris.. I've been able to add a few hundred to Walnut Grove just based upon my pics.. but there were a few that I couldn't identify given their age and condition and a few that are obviously missing like Gertrude's husband and child... SOOOO if you could go thru the Walnut Grove listing and double check the ones I've listed and make sure that everyone is added I would truly appreciate it.. If any corrections or additions are necessary just let me know and I'll fix them.. or I can just give you my log in info and you can have access to my records to make the necessary adjustments.. which ever would be easiest for you hun..

and just give me a shout when your plans are finalized for your trip home.. I'm looking foward to it..

Talk to you soon,

Sandi

RE: Chuck Bauer
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I actually know Chuck's sister, Karen, much better then I know Chuck. She is also much more into genealogy then Chuck is. What would be the best way to put you in touch with her?
