|Tony M.||RE: Marjorie Bowe Holland|
Thanks Elizabeth for your note re Marjorie Holland. It's a difficult one because it's quite possible the death date was entered in the database by the Church or the USA registration may be a record for death duty purposes / death of a US citizen abroad etc etc. I will decline at the moment but when you have some clarification please let m eknow. In the meantime I will write to the Church in Rio and see if I can get some information. They may have some additional data in their papers. Cheers TonyM

I have an edit from you for the above person stating she died in the US. The date of death is the 12th Nov and according to the Church database from where she was buried (in Brazil) they have the burial date as the same. Being buried on the same day as death is very common in Brazil. Do you have a death certificate proving she died in the USA because on the face of things the death date and burial dates do not align if she was transported from USA. I am not declining your edit just querying verification.

|Sue (Lumley) Sayre||Cleland family|
Found the wonderful family photo posted for the Francis Cleland. His daughter Ruth married Fred Neil. Fred's mother was a Sayre. Would you like to share info? Thanks for all the work you do.
|Deneige Boudreau||RE: Bowe family|
Hello, Betsy! I know you are into tracing family history. Are you interested in the link of my mother and father? That would include Boudreau and Langlois connections.
|Donna Kuhlman||RE: Rufus Edward Cleland|
Have added Adah's photo to Rufus' page, along with the information written on the back. They apparently made a visit to Minnesota in the summer of 1946. Fremont Albers married my dad's older sister, Beatrice Cleland, and their farm was just a little south of Dundas, where much of the Frank Cleland tribe settled and stayed. Bea and Fre's grandson had the scrapbook with the photo--and so much more--which we got to see last month while on our own visit. Find A Grave has become my default place to share these wonderful family photos--so glad to get them out there!

If I have posted the picture on the wrong site please let me know and I will change it.

|Richard Sloan||Catherine Elizabeth (Menard) Dixon|
Hi Elizabeth, In this listing http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=72159240 you are credited with providing info that Elizabeth Dixon Doucette's mother was Catherine Elizabeth Menard. The aunt that Elizabeth & Adelyn lived with, Addie Menard Tuttle, is also the aunt of my maternal grandmother (Ella Menard). I cannot find any mention of a Catherine Elizabeth Menard Dixon in census records for the Menard family. Do you have any further info you could share regarding Catherine?

Thank you, and we(me and my parents)were not aware of Jason's passing,I have not seen Jason or Desi for at least 15 years. whew I am getting old haha. please feel free to send to my email...There was a few other questions you may be able to help me with. Thank you again for your time.
Elizabeth, thank you for the touching note. People like you are exactly why I decided to transcribe the whole cemetery rather than just my family. I happy to see him linked to his family.

|Alison||Upper Canada Village|
You have my daughter to thank for the great photos, she brought them as a souvenier of a trip she took to Ontario. Also thanks to my local librarian for getting a copy of the booklet of marker transcriptions from U C V. She had to 'think outside the box' to get it for me as it is a reference only item!! so not available through Inter Library Loan.
I shall pass your thanks on to both of them. I only wish all the markers from the various villages that were flooded had been saved rather than a select few.
