Thanks for the birth information and the sources you cited. I also want to say I must have had a bad day when I took the photos because I had the gravestones right before my eyes and my fingers still entered the wrong dates.

Thank you so very much for the information on my 4th great-grandmother. I have posted it on her memorial and gave you credit for furnishing the information.
I am related through Daniel and Susannah son Daniel Brown, Jr.
Thank you again for the wonderful information.
Have a nice evening,

I have been doing Durgin Genealogy since 1989. I have a discrepancy with "The Durgin Cemetery" info that you have listed.
First: Clara's bio mother was Margarette L Kearney.
Second: There must be several little small cemeteries in Hiram with Durgin's. Since they are my mother's immediate family I can tell you that there are 11 graves in the Durgin cemetery on Durgintown Rd, behind the former Durgin Homesteadd and School.
They are: John H and Clara M Durgin, 4 sons who died as babies, Harry Leo, Gardiner, Ralph Evert and Kenneth. Joseph and Priscilla Littlefield (1st wife), Ruth M Bradeen (2nd wife)Durgin. John and Sarah Ordway Durgin.
I have pictures of their stones which I took while living there.
I am now curious as to where the others are that are listed in the Durgin Cemetery.

I have recently found out that I am a direct descendant to Josiah Durgin who fought in the American Revolution.
Given your posted photo of his grave marker, I presume you are as well? If so, I am curious about any other living descendants known, as well as locations. I have contacted Victoria, who also has posts connected to yours.
Debra I just noticed you added headstone pictures of some of our Durgins at the Durgin Farm WOW

Thanks, there is no problem, I'm glad that it's taken care of. Have a good weekend!

It won't let me reverse it. If you will delete it at your end, then let me know when you do, I will re-enter it without your name on it. Hope this makes sense!

I have transferred Leona over to you. There are several other Wilmes buried there in Dubois County, Indiana. Here are their first names:
Let me know if you want any or all of them transferred over to you.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2015!
