Retired after 35 years in the computer services industry and an avid genealogy buff. I am very happy to be a find a grave volunteer.|
My genealogy links are to Scotland, England, Iceland and Germany.
As a Vietnam veteran and involved with the preservation of knowledge about the Armor Officer Candidate School(OCS)at Fort Knox Kentucky that I graduated from. Findagrave has been invaluable in finding the classmates we lost in Vietnam.
Glad to help when I can and very appreciative of all the other volunteers.

I'd think that would be harder for the body to get used to than maintaining one awful cold temp for months. lol
Be careful with the ice.

Hello Hugh , we had talked about a year ago . And I was wondering ...are you the one that gave me all the wonderful photos of the Preacher Cemetery and are you the one that has been there and knows how to get there ? I am not sure if it was you or maybe Bob Carpenter. My memory is not what it used to be. The reason I am asking is the Great Grand Daughter
of J.J Atkinson was trying to find the Preacher Cemetery and would like to get it cleaned up . I live in Redding, Calif . I wish I could help in the clean up but live too far. let me know if you have the directions on how to get to the preacher cemetery so I can pass it on to Our cousin. Or i can give you her info. Thank cousin , Blessing's to you and your family , Susan

It's my pleasure. I'll have the photos up for you soon.

I noticed your photo request. The cemetery spans many acres and has over 100,000 burials, making an exact location of your request necessary. Please call the office at (419) 536-3751 to get the location as there are currently 250 photo requests. Update your photo request and you will get your photo much sooner. Thanks!
Down the row a bit i found Miles Edward 1879-1947

You are entirely welcome. His grave is two over from my half brother's mother and eventually his grave. I park my car there almost every day to walk my little dog. It was a pleasure to do this.
