My maternal grandmother, Maude Bryan Beard, sparked my interest in family history when I was a child. Then a high school Texas History teacher, Frances Nesmith, opened the doors to research. So for over 45 years, I have researched my family lines that prove me to be a 7th generation Texan.

I grew up in Austin and now live in San Antonio, Texas and love helping other researchers.

Rearching my lines: Beard, Bingham, Johnson, Dyches, Bryan, Jarrell, Anderson, May, Denman, DeGraffenreid; amd the lines of my husband, Morgan, Gray, Byerley, Sanborn, Matuski, King, and Peoples.

James S. Bingham Memorial
You have many of the same family lines as I do, so I assume we're cousins of some degree. At any rate, thank you so much for sponsoring my second great grandfather, James Bingham's, memorial. What is your relationship to him, if any?

RE: Bingham, Dyches Lines
Yes!!! Our common ancestors are James S. Bingham & Lavica Ann Dyches Bingham. It would be good to collaborate. Do you have an account? Have you had your autosomal DNA tested? I'm swamped until probably weekend after this, but I can send an invitation to be a guest on my tree and would like to become a guest on yours, if you have one. Please advise.

Bingham, Dyches Lines
I was delighted to find some of the memorials you built on Find a Grave. We must be related somehow as I, too, am descended from the Binghams and Dyches. Your memorials for James R. Bingham 1801-1846 and Nancy Whittsett Bingham (1807-1893)are the first hint I've found for James S. Bingham's parents. Ditto for James' siblings. I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind giving me an idea of the documentation you've found for the relationships. I'm happy to share any information I might have that you need, but I think you're in the lead as far as research goes!

RE: A P Morgan
This was the message I received: Their suggestion:
A. P. Anderson is my great-grandfather. I am wondering if you would be interested in transferring his memorial to me.
I'll be looking forward to hearing from you.
Jackie Morgan

I think I sent you the right one? Let me know. Laura
