Since the location of the burial is specified by block, lot and space, I more than likely entered the information off the City of Dewey's burial records. Not having those records in front of me, I will assume there was no other information provided as I tried to always include everything on the memorial that might prove helpful.

If you would like to have this memorial, send the request through the edit tab with your Findagrave #. I am always willing to transfer a memorial to those who love and care for the individual.

Good Day and thank you so much for your help in trying to locate my Great-Aunt's marker. Sadly, I was afraid that she would not have one! I tried to maintain communication with Ms. Tina Courville awhile back but she was unable to assist due to her own life situations that are totally understandable.

Out of four siblings, Minnie's brother down in Houston was the only one who had a marker as of 2005. By 2007, with the help of Ms. Jane McManus, we were able to locate Minnie's sister's (my G-Grandmother) grave as well as her infant twins she was buried next to.

I can confirm that Aunt Minnie was buried in the cemetery on September 4, 1953 by Roberts and Pipkin Brulin, per TX Death Certificate #47128.

Aunt Minnie also had a grandchild who passed as well and I had to create a Memorial for her as well.

This Spring after garden planting, I plan to drive over to try and locate her burial spot. She and her grandchild are most likely by her son, James Caruthers. I'm just surprised that a gravesite from 1953 could be lost so fast. :(

Again, thank you SO much for taking your time out to search for Aunt Minnie's gravesite. Let me know if you have any pictures you may need for any of your research from any of the following Mississippi Counties: Marion, Forrest, Hancock and/or Pearl River.

May I ask one last thing? Does the cemetery have a plot layout of the cemetery for people to view??

Grateful!

Kevin
