Sarah your son should be so proud of his accomplishment. What a wonderful thing! But this stone really has me stumped. Nicholas died in 1904 but James died in 1901...James isn't engraved except for his name and he is at the bottom of the stone. I think that the stone was "pre"carved and placed upon the death of the parents with the idea that several would use it.
James married Rachael Fritcher and I see that there are no Fritcher's listed in the cemetery. Obviously I need to locate an obit for him to determine exactly where they really are buried. Answer one question and create another.

Thank you for taking the photo of the Fancher family stone. Was there any engraving on the back? I notice that there are no dates for James and his wife Rachel isn't listed. Any info is appreciated!
