There were 12 children born to this family. The first 7 were born in Coffeeville, Yalobusha Co., MS while the last 5 were born in Suwannee Co., FL. The family made the journey by covered wagon from MS to FL around 1858 except 1 child who must have died in MS. The children were: Mary Louisa Jane Allison (1847-1946); Permelia G. Clotilde Melie" Allison (1848-1901); William P. Allison (1850-bet 6 Sep 1850-1858); George Edward "Ed" Allison (1851-1929); James Morgan "Jim" Allison (1851-1919); Amanda Nancy Ann "Ivy" Allison (1854-1935); Araminta Burchfield "Mint" Allison (1857-1940); Alice Antoynette "Net" Allison (1859-1920); Willie Alabama Rosebud "Rose" Allison (1861-1933); Robert D. Allison (1864-1864); John Lee Allison (1866-1955); and Oliver Council "Counce" Allison (1869-1948).
If you need any more information about this family, please let me know. I assisted on writing a book about the William Allison Family of Florida last year. William and his wife, Mary Criss, made the journey with George and Araminta.
