|Traie Shelhart||RE: Penuell McClure Keepers|
That's one of the big mysteries plaguing my research...no one seems to know if Keepers is buried next to his wife in an unmarked grave, or is buried elsewhere since he passed away 3 years after his wife. I have surmised that he is elsewhere, since the cemetery has no record of his burial there. That whole cemetery is confusing as it was split into two separate ones. He might have moved back to Kingfisher Co., OKL where the family lived before the turn of the century...or could have eneded up in one of the veteran's homes in Indiana and died there. Let me know if you ever find anything to solve this mystery.

Hi Becky, I do not have the info, sorry. Pennuelís memorial was transferred to me by Traie Shelhart, maybe he has the info your looking for, itís worth a try. That is so awesome you were able to visit our Keepers ancestor's graves and I hope next year you will find his grave, snap a pic of his marker and post it on his memorial. He is one of the few Keepers that does not have a headstone pic. Did you take pics of the Melvina, Charles and Veraís graves, I would love to see them.

I accepted the photograph request, but I want to let you know up front that this cemetery has been damaged at least twice. Many of the marker were destroyed by teenagers. I will try to fulfill the request.
