I very much enjoy genealogy research, like my mother and my grandfather before me. I began my research in 1997 and have had moderate success. I primarily research and have links to the Ashe County, North Carolina area. My main family lines are: Neaves, Thompson, Phipps, Blackburn, Sheets, Shepherd, Roark. My husband's main lines are: Dollar, Barker, Elliott, Miller, Greer, Clark.|
I also enjoy helping others with their own research to the best of my abilities. I am a wife, mother to 2 young children, and work part-time, so I do not get to attend to my genealogy work as much as before. I still love genealogy, but I have other important priorities. I say this so that you understand that I will help you if at all possible, but I may be slow about it! :)
Accuracy is important to me and I strive for that. If you are only interested in adding numbers to your file, regardless of accuracy, then I am not a good candidate to work with you.

Thanks. I didn't know about the decoration day, that's awesome. My dad has always told me how beautiful the view was, from his childhood memory. Thank you for responding, and thanks in advance for the time and effort you will be taking out to do pictures it means a lot.
Sincerely Amanda Swink
Hello. Was wondering if it was possible for you to do a complete 360 with photos of Scotts and Blevins Cemetery while standing at the marker of William Andrew Blevins and Melissia Ileen Barker. Just a snap view of photos from all around. They are my grandparents and I live miles away and would like to see the view. I have never been there. Thanks in advance may God bless you.

Thanks Jennifer for the correction from Susan to Susannah. What dates do you have for her in your data base? I have a birth date of May 8, 1813. The date I inherited when I took over maintenance of her page was June 8, 1818. This would make her having babies at 12. I also have her death year as 1900. Not 1909. Thanks.

Do you mind if I use the picture you posted of Levenia's tombstone on my Ancestry.com and Familysearch.com sites? I will always site you as having posted the picture originally.

OK, I have now linked her parents to her. I hadn't had a chance to verify what cemetery they were at, but I guess it has been done now. Thanks for the heads up.
