RE: Stanley Stetler
Hi Karin,
Last year you asked if I knew the death date of Stanley Stetler's mother (Pearl King Stetler.) We finally got a picture of the stone and she died in 1976.

Your welcome, I only know the one Bunker Hill Cemetery in this area. There are three listed in Indiana.

RE: Florence Kuntz
Karin,

I contacted Mike Liechty the MRE Cemetery caretaker. He checked today and called to say. He can not locate a concrete vault next to Samuel but he believes there is an indentation in the soil as I suspected. He told me it was quite common to bury in a wooden vault and the wood has rotted. His belief is that someone is buried next to Samuel Kuntz. That someone is probably his wife if the obituary said she was buried at MRE in 1936. He checked and said that Samuel's vault must have been made of wood because he can't locate concrete at his burial site. If you know of any current relatives, Mike wanted me to tell you it is common to add a headstone for family members when there is none.

We suspect Florence Hoover Kuntz is buried next to her husband.

Email me if you would like Mike's telephone number.

He was very helpful!

Ginger

Yes, as you will see Karin, there are a few pictures where I left the description, all but blank. And that is due to discrepancies or difficulities in reading information.

I thought that it showed "1904" as well but was NOT going to post that and mess someone elses information up by guessing ;)

I thought you would catch that too :)
